This is somewhat embarrassing, but after COVID I started to notice fluid dripping from one nostril when I bent over in a certain way. It started subtly and then became more substantial. I was very concerned of course. But, after several specialists shoving all sorts of equipment up my nose without any answers, and charging insane amounts of money to do so I decided to just live with it. Now I just sort of laugh at myself when it happens and I'm thankful it's not too noticeable. Hopefully it's nothing too serious. I still have yet to meet anyone with a similar problem. Such an interesting topic. So sorry to hear about your lip struggle.

I use homeopathy regularly and have had good results with some of my issues. My husband uses it to keep his gout in check and his tinnitus away. Here’s a link to a Homeopath I really respect and if you type her name into Google and with what issue you can read her blogs. Joette Calabrese

Interesting topic Marijke! I had never heard of Medical Mysteries Company and didn’t realize anything like that existed. It sounds like a terrible mystery what you have had to live with all these years and I hope that someone can solve it! Have you tried any homeopathic remedies? Just a though, since Western medicine usually doesn’t give that much credit. I agree, that here in the US it is even harder for folks who have medical mysteries because of the fact we have no healthcare system that will work for us. Speaking for myself, I can’t imagine how hard and expensive it would be to solve one. We do need a Doctor House in the house!

Thanks Kat. I don't think there is anything I haven't tried! But I'm always open to listening to suggestions. Someone may come up with something I haven't thought of yet. Right now, I'm trying acupuncture again. I've tried with a few practitioners over the years, but I decided to try one more time with a new one. So far, no effect, but I'm going weekly and said I'd give myself until the end of August. THe problem is, the $$ it takes for weekly sessions.
